The Action Plan has been distributed as a DRAFT document.  This is a working document which will continually be changing and evolving as we accomplish certain action steps and add new ones.  Therefore, we need your input and feedback.  The Action  Committee invites you to get involved by serving on one of the four task forces.  Please contact Pam Wall, Executive Director of Triangle Tomorrow for more information – 919-840-7372, ext 24 or pwall@researchtriangle.org.

Triangle Reality Check 2009

  • By 2030, the Triangle region is expected to grow to 3.2 million people up from 2.03 million today.
  • How do we deal with 1.17 million new people in 22 years?
  • Half-day visioning excercise for a diverse group of 300 political, business, environmental and civic leaders, on February 24, 2009 at the new Raleigh Convention Center.
  • Morning summit for 1,000 interested stakeholders on February 27, 2009 to present results from the visioning exercise and to ask attendees to help prioritize growth scenarios.
